Vietnam War Nurse - Photographs for Sale
"12th Evac, Cu Chi, RVN, 1966-1970"
Photo of oil painting by James Davis Nelson of Jewell, Kansas, representing the 12th Evacuation Hospital operating room. Beth Parks is depicted at left as the OR charge nurse. Hand-carved wood frame is by Mike Cheney of Lincoln, Kansas.
The 4'5" x 3'2" painting was on loan to the New York State Military Museum in Saratoga Springs, NY, from 2005-2007. It is now on permanent display in the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Museum in San Antonio, Texas.
